Aaron Polak practices corporate and business law and has divided his time between law firms and as in-house counsel for large and small companies. Aaron opened his own firm in 2008, focused strictly on transactional practice. He represents businesses and investors in M&A, venture capital, real estate transactions and general commercial matters in the life sciences, software, creative an other industries. Aaron previously served as the general counsel of publicly traded and privately held medical device companies. He worked on transactional matters at the general counsel’s office of Ernst & Young and spent several years in the corporate law departments of Kronish Lieb (now Cooley) and the New York office of Arnold & Porter.
Aaron is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, where he teaches a course in Mergers & Acquisitions. Aaron previously served as an adjunct professor at University of Pennsylvania Law School and at the New York Law School.
Aaron graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1993 and cum laude from Boston University in 1987.
Aaron is admitted to the bar in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
