Elannie is a commercial transactions lawyer with more than 14 years of international experience working in Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and the United States. She has worked in global law firms, including DLA Piper and Clifford Chance, and as in-house counsel with an international infrastructure fund, a global ports operator, and a major construction company.
Elannie is accustomed to supporting all levels of management in client organizations, from CEOs to line management. She spearheads the firm’s inbound corporate formation practice, advising foreign investors and businesses (particularly Australian-owned companies and investors) on market entry issues and ongoing corporate and commercial transactions and governance.
Elannie has represented governments, international organizations (including the British government, Africa50, the World Bank, African Development Bank, and UNOPS), investors, technology companies, financial institutions, marketing and design agencies, and professional services consultants across various industry sectors and has developed an innovative and collaborative mindset and perseverance to resolve complex issues, often in novel situations.
